

What is Prevention Connection?
Prevention Connection is a (virtual) substance use prevention program and is one of the many programs that Catholic Charities of Herkimer County operates.
Prevention Connection works with other substance use prevention programs to serve youth and their families who live in Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Fulton, Herkimer, Montgomery and Otsego Counties. Prevention Connection works collaboratively with substance use programs in these counties to help meet the growing need.
Youth who are referred to Prevention Connection can meet with staff and complete the Teen Intervene program. Learn more about Teen Intervene here.
Parents and other supportive adults can complete Parenting Wisely. What is Parenting Wisely?
Both Teen Intervene and Parenting Wisely are "evidence-based" meaning they have been researched and shown to help create change.
